Self-cleaning glass windows

Alien technology?  No!  A thin coating of titanium dioxide on your windows will use the UV in sunlight to burn away dirt and wash itself clean with rainwater.

  1. Hi,

I was wondering, if you could explain, how the thickness monitor works. I will google that by myself, but I really like your videos, and I think others would too.

I hope I didn't miss that part in one of your previous videos.

  2. If you can deposit titanium on the slide in the absence of oxygen, can't you oxidize the coating on the glass separately, reducing the need to constantly adjust the oxygen up and down as the source material oxidizes?
